With over 40 years’ experience operating civil cemeteries Alan has been a National Advisor to the SLCC and regular contributor to The Clerk magazine.\nOverview:\nThis 120 minute webinar is designed for local council clerks, cemetery officers and councillors and covers the following:\n\n– burial law and record keeping\n– managing funerals\n– exclusive rights of burial and transfers\n– cemetery regulations, fees and charges including the Children’s Funeral Fund for England\n– providing more burial space\n– closure and management of CofE churchyards\n– grave digging – alternative arrangements\n– memorial licensing, management & safety testing\n\n \nRunning time: 2 hours approximately depending on Q&A\nRemote Access: Joining instructions will be issued closer to the time\nCancellation: A full refund will be given if 14 days or more notice prior to the date of the training course is given.
