DESCRIPTION:April 2024 sees the introduction of a number of new employment rights for your Employees, to enable Councils to respond to these new entitlements, and to update their terms and conditions of employment, we are conducting a 1 hour Zoom meeting to provide members with the information they need to know, including:\n\n The right to request changes to their hours of work, as well as to work from home, from day one of their employment. Employers will have to comply with new statutory requirements to respond to such requests, or risk possible claims at the Employment Tribunal for Constructive Dismissal (without 2 years service) and discrimination.\nRights for Carers to have additional unpaid leave.\nChanges to how holiday pay is calculated and paid.\n\nDuration:  60 minutes including Q & A\nLocation: Online, the joining invitation will be issued nearer to the time of the event\nMembers Only Event: £10 per person\n
