Knowledge Bites – Armed Forces Covenant – June 25th at 1pm Online

The Armed Forces Covenant is a national promise that those who serve should be treated fairly and face no disadvantage when accessing public and commercial services. It covers all current or former serving personnel, including reservists, and their families.

(Almost) every parish will have veterans / serving personnel or their families living / working within their boundaries. Signing demonstrates your support for the local armed forces community. Being “Forces Friendly” also opens up opportunities as an employer.

Established in 2011 and signed by over 10,000 organisations, the Covenant applies to all organisations, public and private, large and small.

24th-29th June is Armed Forces Week join this lunchtime briefing session to find out how your parish, town or community council can get involved.
