Position Details

Bow Brickhill Parish Council are inviting applications for the position of
Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer.

The staff team up until now has comprised the Clerk / Responsible Finance Officer
(RFO), a pavilion caretaker and a pavilion cleaner.

In addition to the statutory role of Clerk and RFO this postholder has also managed the hire of the pavilion.
Parish Clerk / RFO at 15 hours per week on range SP 18-23 (£24,982-£27,741) pro

This post involves being the “Proper Officer and Responsible Finance Office” of
the Council with responsibility for the overall administration, finances and
management of the Council. The post holder will be required to work from home,
however working hours are flexible although you will be expected to attend Parish
Council evening meetings (approximately 1 per month).

With the ongoing implications arising from Covid the following post is offered,
however it is anticipated that once the pavilion is able to be hired again that the hours
associated with the post will either increase (with the agreement of the post holder) or
the Council will appoint a Pavilion Manager.

This is an interesting role which involves a range of tasks and responsibilities
including council administration, financial management and staff responsibilities.
