10 hours per week

We are seeking a part-time Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer to support our friendly team of Parish Councillors.  The Parish Clerk’s key duties include:

  • Acting as the Responsible Financial Officer, maintaining all financial records and careful administration of the Parish Council’s finances
  • Ensuring the instructions and statutory duties of the Parish Council are carried out
  • Preparing Agendas and Minutes for monthly Parish Council meetings

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Parish Clerk but we will consider capable and enthusiastic candidates with suitable transferable skills.  It is not necessary to live in the Parish of Haversham cum Little Linford.

The role is for 10 hours per week and salary will be up to £15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.  We are hoping to appoint someone as soon as possible so please make an early application if you are interested in the role.
