West Bletchley Council is seeking to recruit a Deputy Clerk.
Serving a local population of over 22,000 residents, with an annual budget of over £1 million, the Council provides a range of facilities and services and is committed to working with partners and the local community to improve quality of life within the parish. The Council considers itself to be a leading local council with Quality Gold Status and the General Power of Competence.
Applicants will need to be CILCA qualified, or prepared to obtain this qualification within 24 months of appointment, and have a sound knowledge of current local government legislation. Previous experience of work within local government is essential along with a proven track record of securing improvements in functions and/or services.
