This session provides a foundational understanding of AI and its potential role in local councils, exploring how generative AI tools like ChatGPT can support council operations. Participants will gain practical insights into what AI is, how it works, and how it can enhance efficiency while staying compliant with council-specific challenges.

AI Part 2 – Using AI for Internal Council Communications – March 12th at 11am online

Discover how AI tools can streamline internal council communications, from drafting documents to automating repetitive tasks. This workshop will focus on practical applications that improve collaboration, save time, and ensure communication between staff and councillors remains clear and effective.

AI Part 3 – Using AI to Boost Community Engagement – March 26th at 11am

Learn how AI can transform the way councils engage with their communities, from creating compelling social media content to analysing feedback and surveys. This session will explore innovative ways to use AI for building trust, boosting digital reach, and fostering meaningful two-way conversations with residents.

The package includes 3x 90 minute workshops, delivered on Zoom, that take councils from AI theory to best practice in communications and community engagement. It also includes a bespoke workbook to accompany for each session.
