Planning Consultants

Access for our member councils to preliminary advice on any Parish or Town Council related planning matter. This free service comprises up to 15 minutes initial telephone consultation per enquiry and a follow up email to confirm the advice provided. Advice is provided to member councils when they are referred to ONH by the County Association.

To meet the growing demand for our services ONH have grown to a consultancy team of seven, comprising chartered and associate planners, urban designers, and architects (including historic buildings) and experienced senior Town Clerks.

ONH can provide help with all community related planning issues with expert advice from qualified specialists. Our full range of support services currently includes: neighbourhood plans; settlement spatial planning; local plan representations; council land and asset management; brownfield first strategies; grey belt studies; design codes; conservation and character area assessments; planning applications and appeals; and community engagement.

We can also offer bespoke additional services and technical support through our network of technical associates in landscape design, ecology, transport assessment, zero carbon building delivery, flood risk management and viability appraisal. We are therefore able to respond to almost all planning service requests.
