
Neighbourhood Planning – In-person training – November 15th at 10am – 4pm
This course will be presented by an active Neil Homer an independent planning consultant.
Registration will commence at 9:30am with the course starting promptly at 10:00am.
Refreshments will be available during the day.
We will be looking at the opportunities and workload offered by Neighbourhood Plans, how to approach them, work to ensure maximum effectiveness, consider real challenges faced, both practical and legal.
Course objectives:
- to encourage those already involved to continue effectively
- to inform those thinking about reviewing a made plan about the route options
- to inform those not already involved in making decision to proceed or not
Session 1 – neighbourhood planning as part of the English planning system
Session 2 – opportunities & challenges for neighbourhood plans
Session 3 – case studies & surgery
Location: Aylesbury
Time: 10am to 4pm
Members: £60 per ticket
Non-members: £100 per ticket
Cancellation: A full refund will be given if 14 days or more notice prior to the date of the training course is given. However, this could cause an event to be cancelled if it becomes uneconomic to run.

Note: This training session will take place in Aylesbury at Buckinghamshire Council offices between 10am an 4m, registration is at 9.30am, attendees are requested to report to reception and you will then be welcomed by a member of the BMKALC team and taken to the training rooms.
