Dear Colleagues,
No full View from me today. My head is filled with AGM matters as we look forward to seeing you at the Annual General Meeting on Monday evening in Campbell Park.
I wanted to take the opportunity to give you a quick summary in the proposed changes to the Constitution, which I hope you will find useful. Attached herewith. Also to remind you that if the additional documents published by BC have a bearing on the response to the BC Local Plan which you have already submitted, you can send a further comment up to closing date on each of these three documents. You can only offer further comment relating to these additional documents and I’ve listed them here to help you.
To ensure everyone has a full opportunity to review these documents and comment on their impact on the draft Local Plan, we are extending the consultation on these specific documents:
- Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment Appendix 5 Gypsy and Travellers Call for sites – extended until 20 September 2026
- Bucks Strategic Transport Model 2 Present Year Validation Phase 1 and Bucks Strategic Transport Model 2 Present Year Validation Phase 2 - extended until 20 October 2026
- Bucks Strategic Transport Model 2 Model Development and Validation Report – Appendices M and N – extended until 20 October 2026
- Bucks Strategic Transport Model 2 Variable Demand Model Development and Validation Report – extended until 20 October 2026

Representations submitted during the extended period should relate only to the impact of these specific documents on the Local Plan.
Please make your views known on these specific documents via this link: buckinghamshire.gov.uk/local-plan
Comments sent to the Planning Policy Team appropriately titled will also be accepted.
Thank you everyone and also to the many volunteers who have given hours of their time to pouring through all the evidence before submitting their comments, as of Monday BC reported something in the 0rder of 8600 material considerations from around 3500 correspondents. Special thanks also to our members from the MK area affected by the proposed growth, for contibuting their observations.
We wish you a great weekend and look forward to seeing or speaking with you next week.
Kind regards
Mel, Lorraine and Jess
