This session gives councillors a clear and engaging overview of UK data protection law, including the most recent legislative changes. You’ll learn how the law applies to your role, with practical examples and real-world scenarios. We’ll also revisit the core principles of lawful data handling, helping you protect personal information and maintain trust with your community.

Running time:  1.5  hours approximately depending on Q&A

Remote Access: Joining instructions will be issued closer to the time

Cancellation: A full refund will be given if 14 days or more notice prior to the date of the training course is given. However, this could cause an event to be cancelled if it becomes uneconomic to run.
