What is a risk assessment?

It is likely that your internal auditor has recommended your council undertakes Risk Assessment training. This Risk Assessment training course is designed to help local councils comply with the Management of Health and Safety Regulations 1999 by providing guidance on how to complete a suitable and sufficient risk assessment in the workplace. Risk assessments are a legal requirement for all types of workplaces.

Training Provider:

Brian Brookes is the Risk Manager at CLEAR Insurance Management but was the Insurance Manager for Leicester City Council for over 11 years and more recently was the Head of Insurance at the University of Warwick.

CLEAR currently arrange the insurances for over 2200 local and town councils throughout the country advising them on Insurance and risk management matters.

Brian has just be appointed President of the Insurance Institute of Leicester for the second time.

Running time: 60 minutes approximately depending on Q&A

Remote Access: Joining instructions will be issued closer to the time

Cancellation: A full refund will be given if 14 days or more notice prior to the date of the training course is given. However, this could cause an event to be cancelled if it becomes uneconomic to run.
