Session 1:
Tenancy agreements / policies / self-management

 

During this session we will cover what to include within the agreement, standard clauses in line with allotment legislation. Why have separate policies, the templates available and issues that can arise. Types of allotment and basics of legislation. Also outlines the different types of self-management and effective control of allotment sites.

 

Session 2:
Planning / Soil Analysis / New Sites / Site Facilities  / Health & Safety

 

During this session we will be looking at what type of facilities can be included on site, what procedures need to covered.  Health and Safety risk assessments / insurance for sites and volunteers carrying out maintenance on site with implications. Also planning affecting allotments and searches for land.

 

Please note this training requires a minimum of 15 attendees to go ahead

Cancellation: A full refund will be given if 14 days or more notice prior to the date of the training course is given. However, this could cause an event to be cancelled if it becomes uneconomic to run.
